In Closing

Thursday, October 23rd, 2008

Yesterday we finished up our revival meetings with pastor Rick Spence and the New Life group. We had a fantastic week as 6 people trusted Christ as the Saviour. We also took the opportunity to pass out some bears that had Gospel tracts attatched written for children at two local hospitals. It was a touching experience for all of us.

This group has been fantastic and I hope that God continues to work in their hearts during and after this trip for the cause of world evangelism.

New Life Baptist Church

Tuesday, October 21st, 2008

New Life Baptist church arrived in South Africa last Friday night and have been on go ever since. They are really being used to minister to the South African people. Saturday as we went out and passed out some literature from the church four people made professions of faith. Then on Sunday we had a great turnout as 112 people showed up for our morning service. The meetings we are holding each day are being attended wonderfully. Last night the alter was full as people came forward asking God for help to be encouragers to others in the church. It has been wonderful and I expect greater things from God over the next couple of days!!!

Back to Back Wins!!!

Sunday, October 12th, 2008

As I check out my Atlanta Falcons I hope that they can find a way to win today against Chicago. I don’t get a chance to watch but nfl.com alongside of fox news radio lets me get a little taste of what is happening. Even if they lose we at Madiba Bay Baptist Church have experienced back to back wins over the past two Sundays. God has accomplished something special last week and has continued to amaze us this week. In review, we saw two saved last Sunday and baptized five and then today we had three make professions of faith in the morning service with 86 in attendance as we honored our faithful and perfect attendance children. We prayed that at least one parent would get saved and God brought it to pass.

We say all of that to say, thank you Lord for working through us!!!”

Thank you to all of those that ministered in the services today through teaching the Word or ministering through song!!!
