Merry Christmas

Thursday, December 25th, 2008

We want to wish all of you a Merry Christmas and a blessed New Year!!! We actually celebrate Christmas on Christmas eve here (Corli’s family tradition). It was great we had an awesome braai (cookout) and then today after the church service we will head back to my mother-n-law’s house for another great meal. Gotta love the holidays! Above all we want to thank God the Father for sending His Son to be born of a virgin so that He could die as a sacrifice for our sins.

Shack building

Thursday, December 4th, 2008

Today I spent a large portion of my time helping one of our dear families at Madiba Bay get a roof over their head after they had to relocate to a different area. They spent the night in the rain last night and all day to day along with everything they own. The situation is hard to imagine.

Thank God they do have a roof over their heads today. Please pray for the Mpiwa family. Even in this very difficult time the mother of this dear family kept a smile on her face and a Christlike spirit. By the way this mother goes out weekly visiting the other mothers of the church giving the Gospel.

GREAT NEWS!

We have been praying for an opportunity to purchase the building that we are meeting in and that opportunity is here. We are prayerfully moving forward by faith in the purchase of our present place of worship. We ask for your prayers concerning this matter. We definately want to be led by our Lord concerning this purchase. The total cost is approximately $22,500 at the current exchange rate.

Thank you
