God’s Hand
Sunday, March 29th, 2009When Joshua went to take Ai the first time he was sadly dissappointed. But the second time was totally different, he took the city with ease. What made the difference? God’s hand or power. I honestly believe God’s hand is upon Madiba Bay Baptist Church. God is consistantly glorifying himself through our body. I am thrilled to be a part of something so powerful.
Today to change things up a little I opened the morning service with two testimonies. One of our sweet “mamas” (what you respectfully refer to an older woman as) stood and gave a beautiful testimony. Let me preface by saying for a long time our people were focused on themselves but now many of them see things differently. The dear lady stood and told the congregation that she praised the Lord the the health problems of her grandchild that she had to take to the hospital because while at the hospital God gave her the opportunity to give the Gospel. Isn’t that just awesome.
Today we saw four adults make professions of faith, three women and one man. The only way to explain this is God’s hand. I believe with all my heart God gets an enormous amount of joy from using our humble people. Praise to the KING of KINGS!!!
