MOVING FORWARD !!!

Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape - 5-26-07 - Alot has happened over the last week and a half and I couldn't wait until the end of the month to let you know about it! Unfortunately but fortunately we are unable to purchase the original building that we set out for. It is a long story but to make it short the property has way too many hang ups for the lawyer to be able to get it transferred over to us. God knew this was going to happen and has already got us headed in a better direction for bigger, and better.

The property above is not an actual picture of our property. Sorry, I am still learning on the computer but I thought you could use your imagination. I will try to obtain the knowledge quickly so I can get the pictures to you.

We have located and already put in our offer on a piece of property that is 10x's bigger than the original plot. It already has a foundation on it that we could use to put up a temporary building on and obviously the potential is much greater to fill our future needs. God wants to do something great here for His name sake and we want to thank everyone one of you that has helped in making this possible.

A special thanks to Mr. and Mrs. David Wachob for their sacrificial gift for the property along with the Business Men for World Evangelism for their ministry. A soon as I have some confirmation I will pass it along.

Last but not least. I know many of you are wondering whatever came of the 100 people that we had on Mother's Day Sunday. Well, I will say that the following week was a bit disappointing but I got over it and this past week one of those mothers along with her young adult daughter trusted Christ as their personal Saviour. They have been faithful to the church since that week and we look forward to what lies ahead for them.

Tommorrow we kick off a new competition in our church. It is just something we have put together to "encourage one another to good works." There are four levels and each level is comprised of memorizing a number of verses, bringing visitors, going through discipleship lessons and discipling others. Please pray that this will help our people. Our church has got to learn to work together as a team and this is just a little team activity that is similar to what alot of high school athletic teams do to encourage their players to work hard and better themselves.

We want our people to be in tip top Christian shape and we pray that they will all climb the ladder to the top and fulfill all God has for their lives.
